Toyota mass recall (1 February, 2010)

Toyota has confirmed the exact UK models involved in a recall that could stretch to 1.8m vehicles worldwide.

Eight different current Toyota models of various production periods all feature, with the fault with the accelerator pedal potentially leading it to stick in a partially depressed position or return slowly to idle.

See the table below for the list of models included, along with their production dates. Toyota is advising any concerned parties to call its customer relations department on 0800 1388 744, where representatives will be able to check if a vehicle is within the affected production dates through either VIN or registration number.
